As of November 2019, the Salon Cancellation Policy will be strictly enforced for all clients at Shine Hairspa. We completely understand life happens. We get sick unexpectedly. We get stuck at work. The kid’s schedule changes. We spent too much money at the mall, over the weekend. Unlike most salons, at Shine Hairspa, we do NOT “double book” our clients. So, without a 48 hour advance notice, we miss the opportunity to fill the appointment time with our clients on our waiting list.
Therefore, we will now require a debit / credit card on file to schedule all appointments. If you do not give the required 48 hour advance notice, your card on file will be charged the appropriate cancellation fee.

If your schedule changes, we simply request a courtesy CALL, TEXT or EMAIL with a 48 hour advance notice. Our automated system will ask you to confirm your appointment at 72 hours via text and / or email. This gives you a 24 hour opportunity to contact us and make any last minute changes. If you book your appointment time within a 48 hour window, it is confirmed the moment it was scheduled and the same rules apply.

The “Day Before” cancellation will cause a 25% Service Cancellation Fee. (25% of all services cancelled.)
The "Same Day" cancellation will cause a 50% Service Cancellation Fee. (50% of all services cancelled.)
A "No Call | No Show" cancellation will cause a 100% Service Cancellation Fee. The book now feature will not allow you to schedule any future appointments at Shine Hairspa, unless they are 100% pre-paid. If you are a New Client with a Groupon Deal that has already been purchased, your deal will be redeemed and ultimately forfeited.
SPECIAL NOTE #1: If you re-schedule your services within 3 days or 72 hours, you WILL RECEIVE the Cancellation Fee that has already been charged as a CREDIT back towards your services. If not, it will be considered a "non-refundable" Cancellation Fee.
SPECIAL NOTE #2: In all fairness to you, as our loyal client… you will be treated the same. If your stylist has a last minute schedule change due to unforeseen sickness, family emergency, hospitalization, etc, you will be given the appropriate 25% or 50% service credits when a re-schedule date has been agreed upon.
